




Three Skookum Dolls

Skookum dolls (Bully Good) were made in the 1920s-40s, having been originally patented in 1914 by Mary McAboy.
This trio is from the estate of Roslyn Tunis. The largest has a wonderful painted wood kachina brooch and a Skookum sticker on her foot and stands 7.5 inches tall. The doll on the right has a metal stand and felted shoes woth no sticker and measures 7.5 inches tall. The smallest has paper shoes and a sticker; 6.5 inches tall.
