Antique gable mask, a human face created in clay formed on a tortoise carapace, having basket woven frame made from Lygodium vine fiber and a ring of Emu feathers and pigment . Cowrie eyes with pigmented features. Nose may be missing as there is no protrusion. Probably Abelam, East Sepik Province, Papua New Guinea
