Classic Hopi jar with pleasing rounded shoulder.  Hand-coiled, hand painted featuring bold black geometric abstraction and migration inspired design elements in black, ochre and iron-red on warm yellow clay ground.  Balanced composition, confident line work. 

The vessel is signed "Marcella" on the base, consistent with mid-late 20th century Hopi work.
