This is an iconic print from the Japanese woodblock artist Haku Maki. It was published as a tipped-in print in The Modern Japanese Print: An Appreciation, by James A. Michener 1959/1962. Titled and numbered 306/510 in the lower left margin, and signed Haku Maki in the lower right margin, it is printed on kōzo paper. There are two printed seals, lower left and upper right, on the print, which Maki stated were an integral part of the overall composition.
