Pre-Columbian Jade Necklace II
AncientSuns
This necklace took many years of collecting to be able to create. The apple jade examples are stunning and there is one turquoise bead on the necklace. The main pendant is 23mm, 7/8 inch, square, and has some cut marks on one side. It may have been part of an ear ornament. There are two matched very finely carved tubes that are 3/4 inch long and only 1/8 inch in diameter, and yet they were able to drill holes to make these tubes. The apple jade axe piece at the end is 5/8 inch long. It is beautifully matched on both sides.
