This abstract wooden mask represents a bushcow known for agressive power.  It sits horizontally on the head of the wearer who dances with it. The dancer wears a fiber custom to disguise the dancer. The patina is made of camwood. The Mama people live on the plateaus of northern Nigeria.  It is believed to support prosperity of the village. 

It comes with a custom made mount.
