These are two 8.5" x 6.5" Original and Vintage oils on board by the important Louisiana and St. Louis painter Joseph Rusling Meeker, 1827-1887. The images are views of the Bayou. Signed at bottom on both with initials.  Fine condition with age toning to the backs not effecting the images. In the original frames. Auction record for a smaller Meeker sold at New Orleans Auction Gallery in 2003 for $9200 (photo).
