This is a 30" x 25" Original and Vintage oil painting on canvas by the very important painter Anthony Thieme, 1888-1954. The image is a view of a mill with a figure approaching the mill race. Signed at lower right. The heavily carved frame is by Newcomb Macklin and is chipped, needs regilding. The painting is in fine condition. The place name is inscribed on back, on the top stretcher bar as 'Overschee, Holland'.
