This is a 18" x 22" Original and Vintage oil on canvas by the important French impressionist painter Paul Madeline, 1863-1920. This is a painting in 1917 of troops along the Seine in Paris during World War I. Madeline set up his easel in the snow to record a rare sight during the war. Signed at lower right and dated Dec. 1917. Fine condition. Well framed.
