Saltillo Sarape
Old Saltillo Road
A very rare type of Late Classic Period Saltillo Sarape ca: 1820-40, exhibiting a natural dark brown wool field with complex geometric floral center lozenge and border designs using multiple colors of cochineal dyes, vegetal purple and yellow over indigo dyed warps.
