Cherokee Fabric Doll With Basket

A beautifully hand-made soft doll, dressed in a puffy-sleeved and ruffled dress, checked apron, and even an under-slip, she also wears traditional Cherokee style mocassins. a red headscarf, and glass-bead necklace. Standing 18” tall, she proudly shows off the basket she is making. The doll includes the original tag from The Cherokee Craft Shop, Cherokee, NC. Doll’s maker is Maxine Catolster, and the basket by Nell W. Rattler. Dated on the back of the tag June 17, 1991.
