Mongolian Shaman's Robe

Silk brocade robe in a beautiful color, having applique border of skull heads and embroidery. The side flaps have been secured by a button as to be able to wear it more easily. This garment would have originally been worn by a 19th-century Mongolian oracle. The fabric is quite early type silk . Purchased in China in the late 1990's, this is from my personal "Closet Chronicles Collection."

Condition
Up cycled robe gathered and re structured without cutting the robe for wearing. Can be un gathered and returned to original large caftan unstructured format. Long Merlin style sleeves have been updated for use.
