The shell inlay design depicts scenes of flora with playful fauna. The inlay is in beautiful condition. 

The tradition of inlaid mother-of-pearl in Vietnam dates back over a thousand years, with the birthplace believed to be in Northern Vietnam. Today, artisans are working to keep the craft alive.
