Welcome to the Virtual Platform Tutorial
Here you will find a video tutorial that will walk you through the basics of our new Virtual Content Management System (CMS).
Getting started with the Virtual Platform begins with filling out your Gallery’s information on your ‘Exhibitor Profile’ page. This information lets collectors browsing on the Virtual Whitehawk Show understand who you are. From here we will show you how to upload your images to the platform in your personal dashboard.
NOTE TO EXHIBITORS:
When viewing the tutorial below, the video walks you through how to setup your account and upload your images using the Antique American Indian Art Show as an example show. This instructions in the video are exactly the same for this show.
If after viewing the video tutorial you have any issues with registering or uploading images, please email support@virtualwhitehawk.com, and we will get back to you as soon as we can. Please make sure you provide a phone number for us to call you back on.
Browser Recommendation
We highly recommend using the Chrome browser to upload your images (download here). It is the most stable browser. And we also recommend to update to the latest version of whatever browser you are using.
Image Specs for Uploading
We recommend for all your images to have a resolution of 1920 pixels wide. No need to worry about what the height is, as long as the width of your images are 1920 pixels.
Your images must be saved as either JPEGs or PNG formats.
We recommend the image size be no larger than 2MB.
Also, to lessen the possibility of any errors when uploading your images, please make sure your image filenames do not include periods other than in the filetype extension, quotation marks (“), commas (,), dollar signs ($), spaces ( ), or other similar symbols as these can cause errors when uploading your images.
Profile Image
Upload a profile image by clicking “Upload Profile Image.” The profile image will be used to represent your gallery on your Exhibitor Profile Page.
When you add the Profile Image, don’t be alarmed if the preview doesn’t appear right away. When you hit the ‘Submit Now’ button, it will appear on your profile page.
