A Hopi Necklace

  A sterling silver necklace, made by Victor Coochwytewa (1922-2011).  This style of necklace, popular in the early 1960's incorporates a high grade green colored turquoise center stone.  His icon, a small rain cloud, is visible on the reverse.....zoom in on the reverse image.  Patina is commensurate with the age....it is unpolished by us.  Measurement is around the inside of the circumference to reference the neck size of the wearer.  The inretouched photos, for some reason, do not capture the bright color and depth of the stone.
