An early Navajo bracelet
Old Saltillo Road
An early and heavy 3 stone turquoise and silver Navajo bracelet ca: 1915. The twisting of the heavy and thick silver wire is evidence of master silversmithing. Jewelry experts have commented on the maker's skill in twisting the silver ultra thick wire successfully. Early stamping work is used on the shanks.
sizing is 4 3/8 inches around the inside circumference, a 1 1'8" opening, and 1 1/4" in height.
Similar to all the other images of our jewelry offerings in this show, these images are, for accuracy, unretouched.....they show the stones are faded, with the color washed out compared to reality. We apologize for this discrepency, and guaranteee you will be delighted to see how much more colorful the stones are in person.
