19th Century Apache Awl Case
Buffalo Barry's Indian Art
This is a beautiful example of 19th century Apache beadwork. An expert on Apache material dated it as being 1875-1900. It has a beautiful golden patina. The case is 11 1/8″ long including the dangles at the bottom with tin cones. There is alternating black and white and black and blue beadwork. There are a few cones missing, but the beadwork is largely intact. There is no awl in the case.
