Heavy and large figure in uniform with a carved gun.  The Jorai people live in the highlands of Vietnam.  Large figures were carved after the death of important people as part of a cermonial event.  The figures honored the deceased at the event sometime after the death at which the attendees say goodby to the deceased and tell them that they will not return to the site. This figure with uniform and gun represent a wish to protect the deceased on his way to the other world.
