Ancestral Figure (Patong)

Standing male figure, sporting a beard and wearing a sash or belt around his waist. He is holding an infant in one arm, a dagger in that hand, with a bird under the other arm.  There is a serpent wrapped around his waist and another animal, facing backwards that is held between his knees. There is a feline figure sitting on top of his headdress.  All of these additional animal figures add power and protection to the main figure.

Hardwood.  19th century.
