Men's Ceremonial Headdress

A complete man's ceremonial head dress with helmet, brass disc, round "ears", chest ornament, goat hair, and original feathers. There is the original flap behind the headdress, which is normally missing (not shown in these photos).
Worn by men of high status and rank and unique to the Tangkhul Naga people. Mounted on custom stand.
Wood, rattan, red seeds, white jobs tears, goat hair, and feathers. H (from top of helmet to bottom of wood chest ornament): 22.5" (57.2 cm), W (at round discs): 22" (55.9 cm), D: 8" (20.3 cm). Total height from top of feathers to bottom of goat hair: 60" (152.4 cm). Total height on stand: 84" (213.4 cm)
