Konyak Naga - high status pieces acquired in trade from Assam, India, worn only by warriors or male members of a Konyak chief's clan - approx. 3 3/8" x 2 7/8" diameters, 2" - 2 3/8" widths, 1/2" - 5/8" thicknesses - 840 grams together - beautifully polished light brown, with bands of "eyes" around the perimeters, and an engraved thin line around both ridges on each bangle - old, smooth, and worn with age lines and slight crazing on all edges - excellent condition - $750 - on bases
