This hammered gold disk pectoral, worn on the chest in antiquity, tested at 22 karat gold, weighed 13.07 dwt. The edges of the disk are dotted with fine indentings creating the 360 degrees of rays of the sun with flaring edge, and a convex surface of the central circle of smooth gold.
