This is a 12" x 17" Original and Vintage pen and ink on paper by the very important Belle Epoque painter and illustrator Charles Dana Gibson, 1867-1944.

This image is famous. This pen and ink is the first image when 'Gibson Anywhere Along the Coast' is Googled in Google images. And when Googling the 'Gibson Girl' the head of the girl seated at left comes up first in google images. The girl seated at the right is the artist's wife.

This image is reproduced on coffee mugs, t shirts and even ties. Signed at middle bottom and dated 1898 two years before the engraving (pictured) was published in 1900, and that engraving is NOT signed. This was offered at Sotheby's in New York on 4/16/2014.

This is an American treasure.
