  This is a spectacular example of the most rare regional style of Navajo rug, ca: 1930"s  Only a few weavers are documented to have been active in this time period from the Bistii badlands.  This very large sized floor rug with the predictable spread-winged eagles design elements has no damage, fading,or bleeding of dyes.  Bistii rugs are missing in most people's regional Navajo rug collections.  Examples rarely come up for purchase......this is a wonderfull example!
