AN EXTRAORDINARY SEATED COLIMA DOG WITH HEAD TURNED, PROTOCLASSIC.
Anthropos Gallery
This alert seated dog, with his noble head held high and turned to the right, his mouth parted as if to bark and spring into action, exhibits a deeply formed ribcage in relief upon his chest, and similarly formed vertebrae upon his back, above a long tail which reaches to his right back leg. He is a uniquely executed sculpture of a Colima dog.
