Anthropos Gallery

"The Big Brute": This seated figure exudes a distinctive character and personality unlike any other Jalisco Gladiator/Wrestler among this type. The sculptural style emphasizes strong facial features and the posture of a well trained athlete or warrior. His open hands lightly rest upon his knees, as if an action is about to happen, creating visually luxurious negative space.
