Large Food Bowl
San Francisco Tribal
This large food bowl exhibits a pleasing asymmetry in the raised relief carving of the two spirit faces at either end, both of which feature sharply pointed noses. The walls of the bowl are relatively thin, and the two figures at the sides bear a subtle glossy patina from use. Wood, lime in-fill. First half 20th century.
