This is a 20" x 16" Original and Vintage oil on canvas by the important Hartford, Connecticut painter Edith Briscoe Stevens, 1898-1931. The painting shows 'A Country Road in Winter', so stated on the stretcher. Signed at lower left and on back with the address in Hartford. Fine condition. Framed in a Newcomb Macklin gilded arts and crafts frame.
